Adding a splash of colour to a family living space

Helen and Nigel had remodeled the rear of their Victorian house to create a large kitchen, living, dining and family area.  The painted kitchen in a deep charcoal and off white had already been installed but they were struggling with paint colours, layout, and how to add colour and personality.

Having looked around the room, and discussed the look and feel that Helen and Nigel wanted to achieve, I created a mood board of fabrics, textures and colours to work from.

Shop! The next stage of the design process saw Helen and I spent a day shopping and gathering inspiration for the furniture in the room.

Work is now going apace to complete the room and add the finishing touches. Watch this space for the finished article!
